SRC, Mt Etna, Sicily, Italy
S Sandra R Rori C Cinzia founded in 2013 owned and operated by the Parasiliti’s was born out of Rori’s obsession with wines of his homeland.
Encompassing 5 districts on the northern slope of Mt Etna all of SRC’s vineyards are ancient and vary in heights from 620M to 1000M .Vines range between 50 and 100 years of age and include native grapes of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Capuccio, Carricante and Minnella.
Grapes are grown organically, manually processed with respect to nature and the terroir of Mt. Etna. No sulphur, rock meal or propolis.
In the cellar wines are spontaneously fermented using indigineous yeast and aged in various methods from steel, cement and oak. No fining, No clarifying, No filltering.
